‘Dear Brother’ shooting reaches 80%

Iranian series ‘Dear Brother’ is slated to broadcast during the holy month of Ramadan.

Directed by Mohammadreza Ahanj, the scenes for the series to be aired in Ramadan, is currently being shot.

More than 80 percent of the series have been captured and the cast and crew shot the ninth episode in Tehran yesterday.

Renowned Iranian vocalist, Salar Aqili has sung for the series.

‘Dear Brother’ is a melodrama with a religious theme which is scheduled to air on Iranian television during the holy month of Ramadan.

Among the cast list of the series are Ali Nasiriyan, Hassan Pourshirazi, Kamran Tafti, Nasim Adabi, Sajjad Afsharian, Saeed Changizian, Afarin Obeisi, Shiva Ebrahimi and Jalil Farjad.

‘Dear Brother’, produced by Mohammadreza Shafiee will be another project in the long list of films which Shafiee and screenwriter Saeed Nematollah have worked alongside each other as they did in the series ‘Like a Mother’ which was recently aired on ifilm.
